PROGRAM OVERVIEW
ABOUT US
Founded in 2024, the Minneapolis Kings are a competitive traveling youth flag football program and 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving 8U, 9U, and 10U athletes across Minneapolis and surrounding communities. Our teams are made up of experienced players who already understand the game and are ready to compete at a higher level. We play in regional tournaments throughout the season and take the game seriously, with a program rooted in strong fundamentals, consistent coaching, and a team-first mindset. Our goal is to continue elevating each player’s skills — both individually and as a teammate — while reinforcing effort, respect, and accountability.
At the Minneapolis Kings, our focus is on pushing talented players to be even better. Practices are structured, fast-paced, and competitive, designed to sharpen decision-making, execution, and teamwork rather than teaching basic skills. We challenge players to think critically, play with confidence, and consistently raise their level of play.
We believe kids perform best when they feel supported, challenged, and excited to be part of the team. Through shared experiences on and off the field, the Minneapolis Kings are developing not only strong players, but respectful, resilient young people who represent our community with pride. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built — competitive on the field, and genuinely supportive like family on the sidelines.
